We are perhaps the leading Independent Insurance Brokers to the Security Industry with access to our own exclusive range of CoverSecure Policies underwritten by Chubb Insurance, XL London Market Ltd, Markel (UK) Ltd and Sterling Insurance as well as a number of other open market underwriters and Insurers including Zurich Insurance and QBE Insurance (Europe) Ltd through wholesale insurance brokers.
As an extension to the main schemes for the Security Industry, we have developed exclusive and specialised arrangements to provide comprehensive and unique cover for door supervisors, security guards, close protection operatives, vehicle immobilisers (wheel clamping), event stewards, private investigators, debt collectors, security consultants and security training companies. We can arrange the appropriate Insurances for both self employed sole traders as well as companies.

With employers and public liability insurance minimum premiums starting from £250.00 for a security training company, £1,260.00 for a security guarding or door supervisor contractor and £760.00 for a Sole Operative CPO needing £2Million public liability only (all including 5% Insurance Premium Tax), payments can often be spread over monthly direct debit instalments at competitive interest rates. The exact payment terms and interest charged will be advised with our quotation if this method of payment has been requested.
Subject to availability, certain Insurers also offer discounts up to 55% for claim free and successful SIA ACS Contractors, members of BSIA and recognised industry forum websites, a 5% Discount in return for a Long Term Agreement protecting the rates applied for a three-year period in return for a commitment to renew with that insurers, helping business owners with fixed costs.
All quotes are subject to either a ‘statement of facts’ or an acceptable signed proposal form, SIA licensed Directors and employee security guards and door supervisors may also be required to confirm that all staff are vetted in accordance with BS 7499 (Manned Security Services Part 1 code of practice for static guarding and mobile patrol services) and/or BS 7858 (code of practice for security screening of personnel employed in a security environment) or BS7960 Door Supervisors. The British Standard vetting requirement does not apply to the CoverSecure security liability policy arranged exclusively through us.
The standard CoverSecure and QBE policy excess is £250 for third party injury or property damage claims increasing to £1,000 in respect of claims at building sites, car compounds or open cast mines. The Camberford Law Zurich Policy has a £500 standard policy excess.
